Hello, friend.  My name is Pastor Jonathan Barker of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.  I would like to say thank you for taking the time to look at our website today. 

I was saved at the age of 16 in July of 1994 on a Wednesday night.  Not long after I was saved, God began dealing with my heart to preach.  It was not until July of 1996 at the age of 18 that I surrendered to preach the gospel.  For the next three years, I would sit under my pastor, Dr. Allen Barker at Turners Creek Baptist Church and be faithful there.  During that time, I was able to preach in nursing homes, on the street, in the jail, and in some different churches.  I believe when God calls you to preach, you have the desire to preach.

On July 31, 2006, God allowed me to become the pastor of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.  Over the past several months, God has blessed us in so many ways.  Here at Amazing Grace, we just believe in the old time way.  We preach out of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible and most of our songs come out of the red back church hymnal.

As the pastor, I would like to give you a personal invitation to come be with us at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, a church that is "still old fashioned".
