Pastor Jonathan Barker has been at Amazing Grace since July 30, 2006. Pastor Barker was saved in July 1994 at Turners Creek Baptist Church where his Dad, Dr. Allen Barker, was the Pastor. In July of 1998, Pastor Barker surrendered to preach the gospel. On September 4, 1999, Pastor Barker married his wife Mrs. Leslie. In November 1999, Pastor and Mrs. Leslie joined Rock of Ages Prison Ministries where they served on the juvenile team for five years. On January 1, 2005, Pastor Barker became the Assistant Pastor at Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville, NC where he served until he became our Pastor here at Amazing Grace.
The Lord has blessed Pastor and Mrs. Leslie with two beautiful girls. Madelyn Faith Barker was born on May 29, 2003. On March 20, 2006, God blessed Pastor and Mrs. Leslie with Alyvia Grace Barker. They are expecting another daughter in May 2012.
